This privacy policy describes how Comutato collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our platform and services.

1. Data Collection
We collect information you provide directly: contact details (name, email, company), CRM credentials for integration, and communication preferences. We also collect usage data automatically: page views, feature usage, session duration, and device information via cookies and analytics tools. For our AI products (ARM and ABAMA), we process conversation data, lead information, and CRM records as instructed by your organization.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to provide and improve our services: operating AI agents, syncing CRM data, generating outreach sequences, and qualifying leads. We use aggregated, anonymized data to train and improve our AI models. We never sell your personal data to third parties. Your CRM data stays in your CRM — Comutato operates as a processing layer and does not store customer records permanently.
3. Data Retention
Account data is retained for the duration of your service agreement plus 90 days. Conversation logs are retained for 12 months for AI model improvement, then anonymized. CRM sync data is transient — processed in-memory and not stored on our servers. You can request deletion of all your data at any time by contacting our support team.
4. Your Rights
Under GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to: access your personal data, rectify inaccurate data, request erasure (right to be forgotten), restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@comutato.com. We will respond within 30 days.
5. Cookies & Analytics
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use PostHog for product analytics to understand feature usage and improve the platform. You can opt out of analytics tracking in your account settings. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
